Hydrogeologic Services
Hydrogeologic services rely on environmental geology, hydrogeology, and geotechnical methods to evaluate aspects of groundwater flow and transport. Research and field testing can be conducted to characterize the subsurface aquifer for a number of applications. Aquifers are typically characterized based on hydraulic gradient, conductivity, groundwater quality and thickness.
This characterization allows STRATA to conduct predictive analyses including dewatering analyses, contaminant transport modeling and Level 1 and 2 Nutrient-Pathogen Evaluations. In addition, they can be applied to forensic evaluations where water seepage or in-flux has cause geotechnical concerns for infrastructure, buildings or other structures.
The following presents a list of the hydrogeologic services that STRATA provides. While this is not an exhaustive list of services, it generally typifies STRATA's participation on environmental projects. Explanations for each service are also provided as pop up text.
