Settled among the Rocky Mountains in the Snake River Plain, this gorgeous city surrounds the breathtaking falls and greenbelt in downtown. As the fourth largest city in Idaho by population, Idaho Falls benefits from the small-town feel with the amenities of a big city. Originally agricultural-based, Idaho Falls has grown into a booming economy with INL just outside of town and nearby tourist attractions such as Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson Hole, and fishing on the Snake River. The city’s western hospitality, diverse arts community, and a backyard filled with recreational opportunities have earned it a place on National Geographic's list of "100 Best Adventure Towns."
