STRATA performed Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing during the construction of a new fish passage facility on the Clark Fork River at the Cabinet Gorge Hydroelectric Dam Facility. This facility is a critical renewable energy-producing facility, providing energy for the region. The fish passage project, one of six planned, advances the protection and propagation of endangered Bull Trout species, present in the Clark Fork River. STRATA performed vibration monitoring support services for the Cabinet Gorge Hydroelectric Dam spillway rehabilitation portion of the project. The project required the use of a single tri-axial geophone vibration monitor and associated support equipment during rock excavation required to complete the proposed improvements near the toe of the right spillway.
