Malad City’s Phase I

Malad City’s Phase I upgrades to the wastewater treatment facility consisted of constructing a series of four new wastewater lagoons that will connect via gravity sewer and lift station to the four existing wastewater lagoons. In addition, a new sewer line will be installed and will include bore pits and pipe jacking under the existing railroad tracks. The new lift station will be a 10-foot by 8-foot, pre-cast concrete structure that bears on a concrete mat foundation.

GEOTECHNICAL STRATA provided geotechnical engineering services for the project to evaluate site subsurface conditions by observing subsurface exploration, performing laboratory testing, and providing geotechnical engineering recommendations for the proposed construction.
