The Project Oyster development is a new concrete tilt-up warehouse building with offices. The building footprint encompasses approximately 1,080,00 square feet of area. The building components consisted of Portland cement concrete (PCC) perimeter footings, interior pad footings, slab-on-grade, tilt-up wall panels, and an elevated mezzanine deck, with structural steel support frames, columns, bracing, and roof components. The development also has parking lots comprised of Asphaltic Concrete (AC) paving and PCC paving. The exterior includes exterior concrete flat-work, hardscape, a stormwater retention basin, a primary guardhouse building, a fire tank and pump-house building, and multiple right-of-way access points. STRATA’s special inspections, construction materials testing, and laboratory testing services consisted of various soil observations and testing, reinforced concrete inspections and testing, floor flatness/floor levelness testing, structural steel field and shop bolting and welding inspections, fireproofing inspections, hot mix asphalt placement observation and testing, and right-of-way inspections and certifications.
