HUB Building includes the construction of a new approximately 40,000 square foot, four-story, multi-use building. HUB houses a central energy plant to power the facility and the neighboring Catalyst Building. Construction of HUB, and STRATA’s Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing service focus, included cast-in-place concrete footings, foundation walls, stem walls, grade beams, slabs-on-grade and elevated slabs. Structural steel framing comprises the individual floor and roof levels. Glass, brick veneer, and metal siding enclose the building. Working with McKinstry and Katerra, STRATA is excited that we were able to partner on this innovative Zero Carbon, Zero Energy Building. The Spokane South Landing Development, located in the Spokane University District, brings together office and educational space to foster collaboration and innovation.
