The Connell Clinic Expansion

The Connell Clinic Expansion will consist of a single-story 9,300 square-foot addition to the north of the existing clinic building. Construction will comprise primarily wood framing with stucco veneer, steel columns, typical shallow spread-footings will include the building foundations, and earth-supported concrete floors are planned. STRATA performed a geotechnical engineering evaluation to assist project civil and structural design.

GEOTECHNICAL STRATA conducted site exploration and laboratory testing to evaluate subsurface soil conditions within the proposed project area and provide geotechnical recommendations for earthwork, shallow foundation design, concrete slab-on-grade floors, lateral earth pressures, and pavement section design to assist final design and construction document development.
