Commercial and Construction Inspection & TestingThe Maverik Store #651 project includes constructing an approximate 5,073 square-foot single-story building with slab-on-grade flooring and metal stud-framed walls supported on shallow concrete foundations. Additional site improvements include steel canopies over the fuel islands and a concrete masonry unit (CMU) wall trash enclosure. In addition to the prototypical Maverik store, fuel storage, and fuel canopies, this project includes additional site features and improvements, including access approaches, stormwater improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and landscaping improvements.
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES The services provided for this project include compaction testing during site clearing, soil improvements, building pad preparation, structural backfill, utility trench backfill, and site work activities. Other services include special inspection, sampling, and testing of reinforced concrete, including placement of reinforcing steel, masonry construction, structural steel, and asphalt pavement, and sampling and laboratory testing of various construction materials (i.e., soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, etc.).
