The Pangborn Memorial Airport Terminal Apron Reconstruction and Taxiway

The relocation project consisted of the reconstruction of the Terminal Apron and relocating approximately 700 linear feet of Taxiway A. The project included an on-site stormwater disposal/glycol collection system. STRATA performed a Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation and provided a report summarizing our geotechnical opinions and recommendations regarding earthwork for pavements and stormwater disposal for pavement drainage, infiltration trenches, and infiltration swales to assist with project planning, design and construction. STRATA developed and executed a subsurface exploration program consisting of seven borings, six test pits, and one infiltration test. Our materials testing program included in situ and laboratory tests completed in accordance with applicable ASTM Standards and FAA guidance.
