The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Refuge Headquarters is located on approximately 1.5 acres within the Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge at Lake Walcott. This project footprint will be expanded to 4.5 acres and will include the design and construction of a new mixed-use storage building that will house two fire engines, boats, and other equipment. The mixed-use building will also include a visitor contact station, offices, laundry, and bathrooms.
GEOTECHNICAL STRATA provided a geotechnical engineering evaluation that included a field investigation with five test pits, laboratory testing, and engineering analysis.
