A city blooming with activity

The second-largest city in Washington state, Spokane is nestled in the heart of eastern Washington, and hosts several hallmark events including: The annual Lilac Bloomsday Run, which draws tens of thousands of runners, walkers, and strollers each year, as well as the world’s largest annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament known as Hoopfest that attracts 7,000 teams consisting of 28,000 ballers. Way back in 1974, the city hosted the World’s Fair for which Riverfront Park, a key attraction in the center of downtown, was created.
